Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Boyden Library is a nonprofit foundation providing support and enrichment to the Boyden Library and the Foxborough community.

The Friends Board meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the Community Meeting Room, except in July, August and December. Meetings are open to everyone — come learn more about what the Friends do and how you can get involved.

Your membership helps the Friends fund programs, services and experiences that go beyond the Library’s regular operating budget.

The annual Teddy Bear Picnic on the Common

Founders Day Kids mini-book-sale booth
Discount museum and zoo passes
Library of Things and Tinker Tank materials
The popular Friends Fall Social

Membership runs from January through December. Members receive a free book coupon for the Friends’ biannual book sales as well as early access to the popular $10 Bag Sale.

Tax acknowledgement letters are sent for memberships or donations of $50 or more. Members can also keep up with Friends activities through the seasonal newsletter, emailed to members and available at the library.
