Boyden Library Sunday Concert Series presents - Colby and Keila
Sunday, April 30th at 2 p.m. (Rescheduled date)
Picture a Tennessee singer-songwriter joining forces with a Brazilian-born guitarist vocalist. The results are incredible. Meet Colby and Keila. Michelle Saylors-Ribeiro (her stage name is Colby, after her dog) and Silvia Keila DeOliveira have been making music together for four years.
Their sound is fresh and unique. “We characterize it as Brazilian bluegrass Latin and blues, “ noted Colby. Both women handle the vocals, and their harmonies add an element of depth to their music. “We write some of our own songs,” said Keila, who plays bass in the duo.
